As part of the branch’s work to improve employment conditions for staff on casual contracts, UCU St Andrews are holding an event for Academic Bank Workers (including postgraduate tutors/demonstrators) and other staff on hourly-paid or fixed-term casual contracts. To include:
– Speaker Professor Jeff Hyman, School of Management, with Q&A session.
– Sharing key findings from the branch survey of Academic Bank Workers.
– Focus groups to share experiences and priorities for action on casual contracts.
