Strike action on fair pay

The St Andrews branch have been picketing in town and at the North Haugh on both strike days – Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th May. The industrial action comes in response to a real terms decline in pay since 2009 of 14.5% and a pay offer from the employers of just 1.1%. UCU’s campaign for fair pay includes a call for the stamping out of casual contracts and closing of the gender pay gap.
