USS Pension Dispute – member ballot

It was flagged up last year that a pension dispute was looming and things are now at an advanced stage.
A special USS Pension Dispute conference for pre-1992 institutions, held on 19th September, passed a motion to ballot members on industrial action.
The ballot will open on 1st October and close on 20th October. Make sure to take part as the turnout will be crucial to the action and any negotiations that may follow.
The St Andrews UCU branch will be getting out information to members through emails, flyers and departmental meetings.
