USS pension dispute – meetings about boycott

In the recent ballot, 78% of members voted for strike action and 87% for action short of a strike in the highest turnout in the history of the UCU.

Industrial action, in the form of an assessment and marking boycott, will commence on Thursday 6th November.

In St Andrews we are holding meetings on Wednesday 5th November to try and ensure that action at a branch level is as effective and well supported as possible.
We’ll provide more information about the boycott and your involvement and you will have the chance to ask questions.
Meeting details:
Town – St Mary’s College, Lecture Rm 1.  1pm and 5pm.
North Haugh – Maths Lecture Theatre A.  1pm and 5pm.

There will also be departmental meetings, including:
1pm, Friday 7th November, School of Management, LR2 Gateway.
1pm, Friday 7th November, School of English, The Scores.
