St Andrews branch committee recommends NO to ballot
Members will by now have received an email from UCU General Secretary Sally Hunt on voting in the ballot on the 2% pay increase offer for 2014/15.
For clarity, the 2% offer is conditional on accepting the 1% offer for 2013/14 (giving a 3% pay increase over the 2 years). In effect this would mean an end to the current industrial action including the planned marking boycott (now postponed until 6th May to enable consideration of the ballot results).
The St Andrews Branch Committee voted on 22 April to recommend that you REJECT the ballot offer.
